Job Description

Job Title: Residential Sales Negotiator.

Location: Opportunities in Brighton and Bognor Regis.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 18:00 – 1¼ hr lunch breaks (38¾hrs)

Saturday 09:30 – 16:00 (alternate) ½ day off in lieu.

Department: Residential Sales.

Report to: Residential Sales Office Manager.

Summary of Job: The main purpose of the role is to obtain new instructions and to negotiate successful sales of freehold and leasehold property.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • To generate business by obtaining new instructions and registering new applicants.
  • To draw up details particulars in line with all current legislation and to vendors satisfaction.
  • To take and incorporate photographs both external and internal for use in particulars, in websites, virtual tours and advertisements.
  • To compose, collate and send advertisements to local press and to up-date and maintain website entries.
  • To arrange appointments to view and conduct accompanied viewings.
  • To obtain offers to purchase, negotiate between vendor and purchaser and arrange sales.
  • To write to solicitors, answer enquiries and generally assist in getting sale through to exchange and completion.

Person Specification:

Motivated with ability to work on own initiative but also able to be a team player.

Ability to communicate well with all types of people.

Confidence to cope with questions and negotiate between vendors and purchasers.

Ability to identify needs and try to meet them.

Proactive yet flexible attitude to work.

Current driving licence essential.
