PS&B Achieves 200 Acts of Kindness in Our 200th Year

In celebration of PS&B’s 200th anniversary, The Blue Bombini Group set out on an meaningful mission, to complete 200 Acts of Kindness across our group by the end of the year.

As we move towards the end of 2025, PS&B is incredibly proud to announce that we have officially achieved our target of 200 Acts of Kindness, a campaign launched in January to celebrate our 200th anniversary and give back to the communities that have supported us since 1825.

Founded in 1825 by Joseph Parsons as an auctioneer at 96 North Street in Brighton, PS&B has grown to become a trusted name in the South East of England, with offices in Brighton, Portsmouth and Bognor Regis.

As you may have seen throughout the year, we partnered with four incredible local charities, each chosen to represent the areas where our offices are based:

What began as a bold commitment has evolved into one of the most meaningful initiatives in our company’s history. Supported by colleagues across PS&B, Spratt & Son, Carr & Priddle, and Lease X, this campaign showcased the goodwill, energy and compassion of our teams.

Surpassing 200 Acts of Kindness

Throughout 2025, our teams delivered a wide range of meaningful initiatives that helped us surpass our goal. We planted 21 trees for new starters and completed six beach cleans, strengthening our environmental efforts. Colleagues also made 11 blood donations.

Our commitment to hands-on support continued with 32 volunteering days, covering charity events, community projects assistance to causes close to colleagues’ hearts. We also donated IT equipment to help local organisations improve digital access.

Across the year, we ran eight book donation drives as well as ongoing collections of food, toiletries, clothing and recyclable materials. Seasonal activities, including our Easter, Halloween and Christmas fundraisers, brought our teams together and contributed significantly to our final total.

These combined efforts enabled us to not only reach our target but also achieve an incredible 210 acts of kindness.

"Reaching 200 Acts of Kindness in our bicentennial year is more than a milestone, it’s a reflection of who we are. What began as an ambitious pledge has become one of the most inspiring chapters in PS&B’s long history. I’m immensely proud of our teams across Brighton, Portsmouth, Bognor Regis, and Worthing whose commitment, compassion and community spirit helped us surpass our goal and deliver 210 meaningful acts. Our partnerships with local charities and the dedication shown by colleagues remind us that when we come together with purpose, we can make a lasting difference."

Looking Forward

Reaching 200 Acts of Kindness marks the end of the campaign, but not the end of our commitment to community impact. The spirit of this initiative will continue into 2026 and beyond as we explore new opportunities to support causes and people around us.

Thank you to every colleague, every partner charity and every supporter who helped us achieve this incredible goal.

Here’s to another century of kindness, collaboration and community.
